We were recently contacted by The Reverend at St Wilfrid’s Church in Grappenhall, Warrington regarding the supply and installaiton of glass manifestation that had been designed by Fine Art student Aphra Proudfoot.
The production of the graphics first required the artwork to be converted to points and paths to allow our machines to proccess it. Once this was done and the final artwork agreed we began the process of manufacturing using Metamark M7 Crystal Etch frost, to give the sandblasted look to the windows.
Once everything was produced and ready to go we arranged a date with the client and attended site to fit the manifestation. We were greeted with fresh new windows that were great to fit to as they looked like that had just been fitted. Fitting consisted of using 50mm thick masking tape to hold the pieces of vinyl in place while we confirmed with the client the location for the graphics, and then by splitting the long runs into individual window pieces, they went on perfect without any problems.
